La Banque was a fantastic AirBnB for a weekend stay, brimming with character and luxurious art deco details. It’s both spacious and beautifully presented, making it an ideal spot for a group of 3 to 6 people. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk to an IGA and a quick Uber ride into the city. Highly recommend!

The refurbished kitchen (complete with large refrigerator, a dishwasher, stove and microwave), internal laundry, and modernised bathroom provide these essential areas with every convenience for guests. Abundant storage and hanging space is available in every room and guests are pampered with designer towels, linen and luxurious toiletries.

The Botanical Gardens and CBD are both readily accessible, an easy level walk via the sports stadium and Boags Brewery. This is a highly recommended place to stay for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Launceston, one of Tasmania’s premier destinations.

We were absolutely blown away by this apartment. True Art Deco understated elegance at its best. Tess & Andrew were so welcoming, approachable & facilitated a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The apartment ticked all the boxes in terms of parking & location + being fully equipped. It was a place to look forward to going to at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to recommend this property & look forward to a return visit.

Loved the decor and feel of the apartment. Very well appointed and couldn’t want for anything more. Great location and close to everything you need. Tess was very friendly and helpful as well as being very prompt with any questions or requests.

This property was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. A lot of thought had gone into the design and it was beautifully decorated in the “art deco”style. The location of the bedrooms with the Queen beds at opposite ends of the apartment was excellent as it enhanced privacy. The manual that comes with the property is also extremely informative. I would certainly stay there again and will recommend it to friends. The host Tess was very approachable and friendly and came round in person on a Saturday afternoon to fix an issue I had with the TV.
