Thank you Teresa for a wonderful stay. This space is so amazing, I can’t recommend it highly enough. We were blown away with the details and the ambience. We spent the New Year period in Launceston and the apartment was within walking distance of our restaurant and the festivities of the city,

La Banque was a fantastic AirBnB for a weekend stay, brimming with character and luxurious art deco details. It’s both spacious and beautifully presented, making it an ideal spot for a group of 3 to 6 people. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk to an IGA and a quick Uber ride into the city. Highly recommend!

La Banque is a unique and distinctive destination that reflects the history and ever-changing architecture of one of Australia’s oldest cities, Launceston. The integrity of the Art Deco style is evident in every room, with numerous flourishes that add a modern twist depending on the specific space. The refurbished kitchen (complete with large refrigerator, a dishwasher, stove and microwave), internal laundry, and modernised bathroom provide these essential areas with every convenience for guests. Abundant storage and hanging space is available in every room and guests are pampered with designer towels, linen and luxurious toiletries.
The Botanical Gardens and CBD are both readily accessible, an easy level walk via the sports stadium and Boags Brewery. This is a highly recommended place to stay for anyone visiting the beautiful city of Launceston, one of Tasmania’s premier destinations.
